Griffin just hit 10 pounds yesterday (at exactly 3 weeks old). By his 2 week check-up he was back up to birth weight (which is always the goal with babies, even those not off to such a rough start!)... Cohen is getting back on track and seems to be adjusting well and happy to have mom and dad home and back into a routine! He is very kind and gentle with his brother. So far, so good! It has been extremely hot here in Vancouver (like 108 degrees) so we are very thankful for the AC system Donnie installed last year! Cohen is doing swim lessons with his friend Tova at the community center 2 nights a week. Mom and Dad are still helping out daily to keep Cohen occupied with trips to the library and parks. We are looking forward to Grandma Val coming out from Illinois to visit next week! With only 3 weeks left of summer vacation here, I am extremely excited that mine lasts until November 30! Yeah family medical leave! Cohen will go to day care a few days a week this fall, which will be great for him to be around his friends again, and for me to have some one-on-one time with Griffin. Now Donnie and I are just figuring out how we can squeeze a concert in sometime soon! (Miss those days!)
